The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training Weekend has a max capacity of 25 participants. You may NOT sign up for individual days or classes. CERT Basic Training Weekend is a 20-hour FEMA program held on a Friday evening, all-day Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. All of the modules are designed to be delivered as one class. By registering for CERT Basic Training Weekend, it is assumed you will attend each module of the class. Participants who attend all modules will receive a certificate of completion which may be recognized nationally in other communities and allows access to future volunteer opportunities.
There is no volunteer commitment associated with this class. CERT Basic Training Weekend is designed for public education, however, it does open the door for you to join our Advanced CERT Team in the future.
Community Emergency Response Team training is designed and open for all adult ages, shapes, sizes, abilities, disabilities, backgrounds, and skill levels.
Coffee, Water, and snacks will be provided every day. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
