Instructions:
Prepare the custard:
In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with 1/2 cup of cold milk to form a smooth paste. Ensure there are no lumps.
In a saucepan, bring the remaining milk to a boil over medium heat.
Add the sugar to the boiling milk and stir until it dissolves.
Gradually add the custard paste to the boiling milk, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
