1. Return / Replacement / Refund Policy
All products sold on Flipkart should be brand new and 100% genuine. Flipkart’s Return Policy covers the Buyer against ‘damaged’, ‘defective’ and ‘not as described’ products.
Buyers can raise a request for return, replacement/exchange or refund within the return guarantee period post order delivery or post installation (wherever applicable) as stated below:
Buyers will be able to return products within 10 or 30 days of delivery/installation across all verticals as provided here.
Only for Clothing, Footwear, Watches, Eyewear, Fashion Accessories and Fashion Jewellery categories, Buyers will still be able to return products within 30 days of purchase delivery. Click here for the category wise returns policy list. This list may be updated from time to time.
In case Value Added Services (“VAS”) are sold by Sellers such as extended warranty or damage protection plans sold only along with the principal product, Buyer can raise a request for return or refund of VAS within 10 days from the date of order delivery. Further, if a request for return or refund of the principal product is raised by the Buyer, request for return or refund of the VAS shall be automatically raised and the Seller shall have to honour the same.
Consumable, perishable products (i.e. software , personal care, innerwear as mentioned in the category wise returns policy list) will have a no returns policy.
Certain products categorised against “No Returns” in the category wise returns policy list will have a no return policy except in the following cases:
· Damaged or defective products
· Missing products
· Expired product
· Mis-shipped products
· Fake products
It is clarified that the seller shall not dispute any returns on account of the above under any circumstances.
All products under a particular category may not have the same return/replacement period. Please check the respective product’s applicable return/replacement policy on the product page.
In case of customer returns, Sellers shall be charged shipping fee, reverse shipping fee, collection fee and pick-pack fee (Flipkart Advantage) and any installation charges charged to the customer by any installation service provider as damages to the customer. Commission and fixed fees will not be charged on any customer return.
For orders on Flipkart Advantage, Reverse Shipping Fee will be reimbursed if the returned items are found to be damaged, missing or mis-shipped when verified at the Fulfilment Centre. The reimbursement will be done automatically from the Seller Protection Fund.
