The U.S. saw mixed weather conditions in various states this week, with the Gulf Coast region seeing numerous tornadoes, while the upper-Midwest was left under inches of snow.

More than 30 tornadoes rolled through five states, but Louisiana was the hardest hit with at least three dead and dozens injured and homes destroyed.

In Minnesota, nearly a metre of snow blanketed part of the state, and both it and surrounding states have been left in sub-freezing temperatures.
As Reggie Cecchini reports, the storm is not over yet with millions in the northeast bracing for possible impact.
