Installation:
sudo pacman -S reflector
Options:
--sort (Factor to sort by)
Options are: age, rate, country, score, delay
-l (Number)
Similar to -a, but instead of hours it just finds the latest mirrors
-c (Countries)
List countries with --list-countries
-p (Protocols)
Discriminate based off specific internet protocols
--verbose
Makes it all more explicit
--save (The file to save it to)
You need root priviledges to write to /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Examples:
sudo reflector --verbose --sort rate -l 30 --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Verbosely sort the 30 latest mirrors by speed and save this to the pacman mirrorlist
sudo reflector --verbose --sort delay -l 30 --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Verbosely sort the 30 latest mirrors by delay time and save this to the pacman mirrorlist
sudo reflector --verbose --sort rate -l 30 -c Italy -c France --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Verbosely sort the 30 latest mirrors from France and Italy by delay time and save this to the pacman mirrorlist
sudo reflector --verbose --sort rate -l 15 -p https --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Verbosely sort the 15 latest HTTPS only mirrors by speed and save this to the pacman mirrorlist
