I thought I'd do a quick video just in case there are others out there that would like to know how these plywood/laminated double basses sound. I would call myself a novice so please excuse the playing, but I hope this gives you an idea.
There are plenty of written descriptions and reviews in the bass forums, but I found there was a lack of good videos that did the sound justice.
This is the factory setup with Artino strings, except for the E string that to my great surprise snapped. I'm currently using a replacement E string of an unknown brand that is a matching .115 gauge.
I may in future upgrade to the suggested Spirocore strings and upload a comparison video, but we will see.
