This is an awesome little device to make your home more efficient and control light switches with your phone or tablet, from anywhere. I use mine to plug my daughter’s string lights on her bed into. The outlet behind her bed is difficult to reach and I need to crawl under her bed to plug them in and unplug to turn them off. With this switch I can turn the lights on and off with my phone. There are also timer options on this so you can set it to turn off after several minutes-hours. You can also set timers to turn off or on.
You use this with the app, “Tuya Smart.” You do need to set an account with the app in order to use it. It is easy and simple to use with some great abilities such as setting switches to come on when you get home, turning them on or off when you leave your home or setting lights and things to turn on in the morning to wake you up. You can control several switches with this app.
