A man in his 30s is one of 12 people who have died from COVID-19 in Victoria in the past 24 hours, with the state recording 466 new cases.
Meanwhile, following Queensland's new border restrictions, travellers experienced some early delays, with many motorists being turned away.
New South Wales has recorded nine new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday.
