After turning down the opportunity to be inducted previously, the timing was right for Coach Tom Landry to go into the Cowboys Ring of Honor on November 7, 1993. Time had healed (for some), the Cowboys were the current Champions of the NFL and the NY Giants were in town. The event took place at halftime during the Cowboys-Giants game in which the Cowboys won 31-9.
