Kathak Dance Collective wanted to send off guru Pt.Birju Maharajji with a humble offering to his lotus feet. We are forever in his debt for enriching our lives with light/knowledge and leading us by example to live, love and dance our life away with humility.
It was comforting to spend time together with students (future kathakars) today, exchanging stories & sharing memories of him, singing his songs and attempting to dance his choreographies.
