Your Cleveland weather forecast brought to you by 3News Meteorologist Matt Wintz!
Stubborn lake effect snow showers will continue early tonight before drier air filters in overnight, otherwise partly cloudy skies can be expected with lows dipping down into the mid and upper 20s.
Sunday's looking good! It'll be on the chilly side, but well, it's January! Clouds with some sun peeks are possible. By the afternoon into the evening, a weak storm system will slide south of us through the Ohio River Valley. We could see a few snow showers off of this--especially in our southern counties. Elsewhere, we'll just have a quiet day with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
We'll begin to warm into the 40s this week as a system develops in the central and southern Plains mid-week. This system will bring us rain that likely changes to some snow on the back side. Timing and strength of this storm will be determined over the upcoming days, but an early timeframe would be sometime Thursday-Saturday. We'll keep an eye on it for you!
