R.O.B (Robotic Operating Buddy) was created by Nintendo in 1985 to revive consumer interest in home video gaming after the video game crash of the early 1980s. Nintendo only produced two games for R.O.B. Stak-up and Gyromite. Stack-up came with it own colored discs, trays, and hand attachments. Gyromite aka Robot Gyro is demonstrated in this video. R.O.B. was packaged with the Nintendo Entertainment System and Gyromite. It was also available separately with Stack-up.
