You can help save tiny Amherst Island in a David and Goliath battle to stop Algonquin's turbine project. Please ask Minister Murray (minister.moecc@ontario.ca) to reject Algonquin's Notice of Commencement and demand that all approvals and permits be in place prior to construction.

Please request Premier Wynne (premier@ontario.ca) to cancel the project and save your money - $500 million over the next 20 years for unreliable, unneeded power. Yes really, $500 million.

The jewel of Lake Ontario and its many owls, raptors, bats, migratory birds and Blanding's turtles merits preservation.
