Naltar Valley Road is under construction and in bad condition due to major landslides and heavy stone blasting for road construction. But all these troubles and bumpy jeep ride takes you to magnificent Naltar Valley specially Naltar Lakes, you won't regret trust me. Satrangi Lake (Lakes of seven color) is most famous lake in Naltar Valley, It takes around 3 hours to reach Satrangi Lake (Naltar Lake 1) from Nomal (A small town on Karakoram Highway near Rahimabad, Gilgit District). You can easily park your car in Rahimabad / or Nomal and hire a 4x4 Jeep ranging from 5000 to 7000 full day visit. After visiting Satrangi Lake you must go to Blue Lake (Naltar Lake 2) which is just 10 min drive from Satrangi Lake, this lake is also not less beautiful than Satrangi Lake, spend some quality time there or hike for around 2 hours to visit Naltar Lake 3 (Abzuri Lake).I'd personally recommend to stay at least a night in Naltar Valley to observe it's beauty, a day visit is not enough you will surely notice it when visiting Naltar.There's Snow Leopard Rehabilitation Center in Naltar Forest, where you can see Loli (A female snow leopard which was when pub rescued some 5 years ago by locals).
