"I think parents, it's hard to talk about climate change to kids because there's an apocalyptic dimension to it, it's catastrophic," says Dacher Keltner, psychology professor at UC Berkeley. However, health arguments are starting to change that, because it's easier to compel parents to take climate action when it protects the health of their children.
