The Mysuru Banana Festival is being held from November 22–24, 2024 at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry in Mysuru. The Ahara Mela has a wide varieties of dishes made of bananas. It also has several stalls sellin earthernware containers, clay lamps,clay vegetables,agricultural tools, icecreams,books, Akshaya kalpa Organic as well as several varieties of food products.The festival is celebrating the diversity of native bananas in Karnataka, including the Nanjangud Rasabaale and Kamalapura Red varieties. It will also showcase banana crafts and cuisines, and highlight the importance of conserving these bananas. The festival is being organized by Sahaja Samrudha and Akshaya Kalpa Organics.
