As per the latest news Times Now, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is in Leh today. Rajnath Singh arrives in Leh to dedicate the Rezang La war memorial, which has been renovated. He dedicates the freshly constructed battle memorial at Rezang La in eastern Ladakh, where Indian forces fought the Chinese enemy heroically in 1962. The Battle of Renjagal has been ongoing for 59 years now. The Chinese will never forget the battle of Rezangala, which India endured during the 1962 war with China.
Rezang La became a hotspot last year in the continuing confrontation in Eastern Ladakh. As a result of the preemptive strike, China was obliged to negotiate. Plus, troops disengaged on both banks of the Pangong Tso this year.
