Assalamualaikum and welcome to The Muslimah ideas.
"5 Misconceptions that are actually halal for women in Islam" is an education videos to clarify something that women may considered to be Haram in Islam which are not. below 👇 is the reference for not covering head/hair while reciting the Quran.
It is not obligatory for a woman to put on a hijab in order to read the Quran, because there is no evidence to indicate that this is obligatory. Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymin said that reciting the Quran does not require covering the head.
However, in some parts of the world like india and Pakistan covering the head is a way of showing respect so if someone does it out of respect it is completely fine but one should not make it a part of Islam and make it obligatory for others. If you make it a part of Islam and obligatory for people then it will be a Biddah(Innovation) which is a sin.
Sujud al-tilawah
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymin said in his comments on Sujud al-tilawah (Prostration required when Reciting certain verses of the Quran): "Sujud al-tilawah is to be done when reading the Quran and it may be done in any state, even with head uncovered etc. Because this Prostration is not subjected to the rulings on prayer." (Fatawa al-Jami'ah li'I-mar-ah al-Muslimah, 1/249).
It is better for a woman if she comes across an Ayah where sajdah is prescribed to prostrate with her hair covered , but if she does sajdah al-tilawah without cover, we hope that there is nothing wrong with that, because sajdah al-tilawah does not come under the rulings on Salah - it is an act of submission and drawing close to Allah, like all other kinds of dhikr and good deed.
