After our cooperation in 2011 and 2016, the Exacompta Clairefontaine Group has once again relied on MSK stretch hooding solutions for their Clairefontaine Rhodia logistics center in Ottmarsheim, near Mulhouse. The last delivered MSK Tensiontech stretch hooder has increased the efficiency of their packaging line while reducing, even eliminating the rate of damage encountered during transport.
Due to high production rate, logistics centers are increasingly driven to automate their process for greater efficiency and safety. The MSK stretch hooding system enables pallets to be hooded at high speed, thus saving the company a considerable amount of time. The efficiency of the entire supply chain is then strengthened since the loading of downstream trucks is thus faster.
The stretch film covers each pallet to stabilize it effectively. Due to its closed hood, the MSK stretch hooding system offers a 5-sided protection against theft, bad weather conditions and dirt. Clairefontaine Rhodia also acknowledges that since the use of the MSK stretch hood system, thefts and complaints of damage during transport such as wet products have decreased. The transparency of the hood also makes it easier to read barcodes. In addition, the MSK stretch hooding system operates hygienically without the use of hydraulics. The lift pallet system from MSK allows to move pallets while keeping the pallets stable. The weighing system is also connected to the MSK EMSY software. This digital tool, similar to a smart phone or tablet, makes it easy for operators to use the MSK installation thanks to its intuitive interface.
