Thailand has been gradually easing COVID-19 restrictions, but many migrant workers are still feeling the impact of the initial stages of the lockdown, when many companies were forced to close. Some are trying to earn money by doing odd jobs, but labour rights organisations are concerned that employers may take advantage of these migrants. There are some three million migrant workers in Thailand, employed in sectors like construction and F&B.
