Misericordia University held its Winter Commencement ceremony on December 17, 2017. The ceremony include graduates from 18 different states including: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin. Among the largest cohorts of students, 59 students graduated from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the College of Health Sciences and Education, and 26 students received their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The College of Business awarded 33 Bachelor of Science degrees in business administration. During the ceremony, Father Martin and Elisabeth "Lisa" Fontenelli were awarded honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees.
