My hubby demonstrates how to saber a bottle of sparkling wine using the Champagne Saber I gave him for Father's Day. This was at his parents' 50th Anniversary party. He started off the speech holding the little knife his father gave him when he was a little boy to slice mushrooms, and that was the family recipe he cooked this evening. So that was the call back when he picks up the saber and says it's a little bigger than the knife he used to slice the mushrooms all those years ago.
