On October 13th, 2016 the panel "Critical Made in Italy Part 1: Design" has been held at Montclair State University, as a part of the series "Critical Made in Italy". The series aims at offering a critical take on this fascinating concept, which embraces anthropological, aesthetic, and socio-political considerations.
This first panel, devoted to the topic of design, was developed in line with the celebration of Italian language and culture that takes place every October worldwide as part of an Italian government’s initiative. Its 2016 edition focuses on design and creativity. The event features speakers Daniele Balicco, author of "Made in Italy and Culture," and design expert Wava Carpenter, editor in Chief at Pamono.
