Riding on the success of Richard Fleischer's epic, The Vikings, this low-budget offering starring Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier played it light and humorous. Having been captured by the evil Mansuh (Sidney Poitier) Rolfe and co. (Richard Widmark, Russ Tamblyn et al) find themselves in dire straits when they are forced to ride the "Mare of Steel."
