AFTERBURNER SYSTEM
The engine Is equipped with an afterburner, where additional fuel may be injected into the hot exhaust gases for afterburner combustion, producing consid-erable thrust augmentation. The main components of the afterburner system are theafterburner fuelpurnp, afterburner fuel control, afterburner fuel manifold and spray bars, and the torch igniter.
