Two of Network Rail's Class 97's were scheduled to work this charter, but unfortunately there were several breakdown between Newport, where they were attached to the train and the destination at Llandrindod Wells. It was a very squally blustery day, as I captured the train at Llandarcy after the first failure at Stormy Down, then in very windy conditions on Sugar Loaf Summit as they roar on the climb at this stunning location. Finally some short clips at Llandrindod Wells after the passengers were dropped off to spend some time at this Victorian Resort
