You no longer necessarily have to pay thousands of dollars per flight. Empty leg flights are a way to fly on a private jet at a significantly reduced cost. These flights occur when a private jet has a one-way booking, and the jet needs to fly back to its starting location without any passengers. Rather than flying the jet back empty, the company will often sell the remaining seats on the return flight at a discounted price, usually for a few hundred dollars per person.
These empty leg flights can be a great way to fly privately at a much lower cost than the typical hourly rate, which is usually around $5,000 per hour. If you want to get a full jet to yourself, get 5-10 of your friends with you and it will come out to just a few hundred dollars each.
If you don’t have friends willing to come with but still want to fly private. There are commercial private jet airlines that offer cheap seats as well such as JSX, Blade, Aero, & Surf Air. The screenshot at the end of the video with the $250 flight was from JSX.
