Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to offer again SummerT.I.M.E. (Thrive, Inspire, Motivate and Engage); an enrichment opportunity to encourage students to learn beyond the classroom!
SummerT.I.M.E. (Thrive, Inspire, Motivate and Engage) is a series of summer learning experiences designed to allow students the opportunity to participate in positive learning and engage in various fun-filled Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities. These experiences will provide students in grades K-11 informative sessions to develop skills employers and colleges are currently looking for in STEM literate individuals such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication,
innovation, and systematic problem-solving. STEM is the building blocks that connect the world, so it is important that we provide our students with the opportunity to “get connected” by engaging in science, technology, engineering, and math. SummerT.I.M.E. Learning Camps are free and will be located at various school sites throughout the district.
To prepare our students for success, rising third graders will have an opportunity to participate in a SummerT.I.M.E. Reading Enrichment Camp. Additionally, our rising sixth and ninth graders will have an opportunity to participate in the Advanced Learning Prep Program. These programs will equip students with study skills, critical thinking skills, and core knowledge necessary for a successful 2019-2020 school year.
