A special edition of the Department of Medicine Grand Rounds series features two back-to-back talks in honor of Medical Education Day. Mariah Quinn, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor (CHS) presents a talk entitled, "You Can't Teach That! How the Empathy Course Teaches Empathy and Self Care." Dr. Quinn is Associate Program Director and Director of Humanism in Medicine Curriculum for the UW-Madison Internal Medicine Residency Program. Laura Maursetter, DO, Assistant Professor (CHS) and Ian Todaro, MS present a talk entitled, "Teaching Quality Improvement in an Asynchronous Fashion." Dr. Maursetter is director of the General Nephrology Fellowship Program at UW-Madison, and Mr. Todaro is the former fellowship programs coordinator.
University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine Grand Rounds are presented throughout the academic year and are intended for health care professionals and medical researchers.
