‘Jack of all Trades’ is often considered a derogatory term. Drawing from his vast experiences in the field of medicine Dr Jonathan Griffiths speculates that this may not necessarily be the case.
Originally from the West Midlands Dr Jonathan Griffiths studied medicine at Manchester University before taking a post as a Junior Doctor in Birmingham. Quickly deciding that his future laid in general practice, Jon qualified as a GP in 1998 spending some time working in South Staffordshire before moving to Nantwich in 2005.
Working as a GP in Winsford in 2013 he became the Clinical Chairperson for NHS Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Group, covering 102,000 patients around the region. An active man, Jon has taken part in several half marathons including New York and has completed the Saunders Lakeland Marathon nine times.
