Land Rover is all set to unveil the fifth generation 2022 Range Rover SUV on October 26. The carmaker had teased a blurred image of the SUV on Wednesday which showed the profile of the car. While it did not share too many details about the much-awaited SUV, leaked images online has laid bare how the 2022 Range Rover is likely to look like.

It is not entirely clear where the leaked images of the new Range Rover came from. It seems the source of the leak to be a French magazine called Cochespias, which shared the images on its social media handles hours within the teaser came out officially.

the new Range Rover doesn't look very different from the existing one, although it is based on the new MLA architecture. The upcoming SUV will have the same silhouette as the existing model but will have a new radiator grille flanked by sleeker LED headlamps with LED DRLs.

The side gills remain unchanged but the new design for the alloy wheels and flush-fitting door handles do make the SUV look better than the outgoing model. The most significant design change, however, is at the rear-end with the new black panel that houses the tail lights.

The leaked images also give us a glimpse of the new Range Rover's interior, which isn't very different from the existing model's. But there's a large touchscreen for the Pivi Pro infotainment system.

Engine options are yet to be announced, however it’s likely Land Rover’s range of Ingenium six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines will be on offer (potentially with mild-hybrid assistance). V8 and four-cylinder plug-in hybrid options are also expected, however these have not been confirmed.
