Let's discuss about different media to root Hoyas. In summary:
1. Direct in soil, doesn't really work for me and why
2. Sphagnum moss for small leaves/ sensitive hoyas
3. Water is generally the easy and best way for me
Patience is the key, roots should happen in 1-3weeks.
I didn’t include perlite in bag method as personally I never tried this method before, and I have heard many having stem/leaves rot issues, especially with the more sensitive hoyas.
For those with drier climate, humidity could increased by putting in prop boxes, but care must be taken to allow fresh air in every few days to avoid rot.
I hope this information helps you!
