Dingle Road is located on the short Branch line from Grangetown (Cardiff) to Penarth and is part of the South Wales Valley network
The station is operated and managed by Transport For Wales which operate all services on the Valley network and at the time of filming was using a mix of (Class 150/153) 'sprinters' and (Class 142/143) 'pacer rail buses' to operate the services, the station sees two trains a hour in each direction,
