Police have dispersed a meeting called by the Forum for Democratic Change Party in Njeru, Buikwe district.
According to the police, in calling the meeting, FDC officials did not conform to the dictates of the Public Order Management law.
However, FDC officials led by the party Vice chairperson Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo and Deputy Secretary General Harold Kaija accused the police officers of overstepping their powers.
