The president of Tyler Perry Studios was killed in a single-passenger plane crash on Friday evening in Florida, according to multiple news reports.
Steve Mensch, 62, had been in charge of the film studio since 2016. His death was initially reported by TMZ. Reports say that Mensch was piloting the plane that crashed on a road in Homosassa, Florida. He was the lone passenger.
