Alexander Goedicke (Russian: Александр Фёдорович Гёдике, \Aleksandr Fyodorovich Gyodike) has made a massive impact on developing young (beginner) students' technique and musicality. He composed very many piano etudes and other pieces that helped develop young students.

Interesting fact: he had almost no formal/traditional training in composition, yet here we are - he managed to contribute a very significant portion of beginner's repertoire to "the Russian Piano School".
