Dr. Bragg explains how pain medications can damage your liver and kidney. When taking your pain medications, she recommends that you look at the amount of Tylenol in your medications to ensure that you do not exceed the daily recommended amount of 3000 mg per day.
This will help to reduce the likelihood of liver or kidney damage from Tylenol.
If you are taking a narcotic medication remember to monitor the amount of Tylenol in it.
Medications like oxycodone and hydrocodone contain Tylenol so they must be monitored for your safety!!
Tylenol overdose is one of the most common poisonings worldwide.
Each year Tylenol poisoning accounts for 56000 emergency room visits , 26000 hospitalizations and approximately 458 deaths due to liver failure.
Listen to this video for tips to ensure you get good pain relief while taking medications with Tylenol.
