Witcher Fans get excited! The Witcher 4 has had a recent development update regarding the amount of staff that is now working on Project Polaris, the followup sequel to the Witcher 3! New staff are being added to the project as of a recent investor update that is publicly available. As development wraps up on The Cyberpunk 2077 DLC Phantom Liberty it means that The Witcher 4 is now in active development meaning that a release date may be closer than we think!
The Witcher 4 is going to be the first project utilizing unreal engine 5 instead of REDEngine which has powered the Witcher 2, the Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk 2077 What does this mean for the release date of the Witcher 4? When might we see more? And can we anticipate how this might affect other projects such as the New IP from CD Projekt Red or Witcher 1 Remake which will also use Unreal 5? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
