Not cool... not cool at all. I've had 140k mile Subaru's that sounded like this, but a new factory short block should not be one of them. Piston slap from, I suspect #3 piston. Goes nearly (but not all) quiet after 10 minutes of driving. I'll call the dealer and see what they want to do. Factory short block installed 3 months ago at Bob Rohrman Subaru of Fort Wayne
