If you need a lot of half square triangles this is a great way to speed up the process!
With this method you can make 32 hst's at a time. One of my favourite quilting hacks!
The formula I used to make these is:
Size of hst (unfinished) x 4 +3
I wanted 3" unfinished hst's
So my math was:
3x4+3=15
So my starting squares needed to be 15" square.
I then trimmed my hst's down to 3" so once they are sewn they will be 2.5".
I gave myself extra trimming space incase my sewing wasn't 100% accurate.
