The Shard is a 95-storey, 305.059m tall, mixed-use supertall building located in Southwark, London, UK. The tower was designed by Renzo Piano and the development was lead by Irvine Sellar.
The Shard is currently the tallest building in the UK and the 9th tallest building in Europe.
Between March 2013 and August 2013, I made 712 drawings representing each day construction appeared to have observably progressed to complete this time-lapse. I had previously completed an entire time-lapse representing the construction of The Shard made between April 2011 and November 2012, which I later released on this channel on the 5th February 2016 (see link below), since I wished to improve on the quality of my illustrations.
