I've been a huge fan of this Darwi Vernis gloss varnish for a while. It's made by the Clay and Paint Factory, which is the maker of Cernit polymer clay. It is a spirit-based varnish and you do need to clean your brush with alcohol or thinner.
I like Darwi Vernis gloss because it's goes on smoothly, dries hard and smooth, and feels like glass rather than the plasticky feeling you sometimes get with Varathane or Brite Tone. The gloss is super glossy. There is also a very nice, smooth satin varnish.
I've used this on my beads for years with no problems. However, do be aware that this is a brittle finish and will crack if you flex it. Therefore it's not good for use on things that flex, such as cutter earrings. But for beads? Oh yes. It's my favorite.

You can find Darwi Vernis from shops that sell Cernit. In the US, it's being imported by Blueberry Beads [ Ссылка ]. Since this varnish has a flammable solvent, it cannot be shipped by air and that means it's not available everywhere.
