A basic description of digital soil mapping is, "the use of spatial data representing environmental variables and geospatial techniques to predict the distribution of soil classes or properties". The techniques provide opportunities for increased spatial resolution and value added products that are not feasible with current polygon based products. This webinar will attempt to remove any mysteries surrounding the topic and provide a basic awareness of the process.
