This is our story of being apart for two years, while Brad served his LDS mission! Never have I ever been happier than the day we reunited. :) Brad decided to serve an lds mission for our church, and we all screamed when he opened his call and it said Rancagua, Chile! His Mom is from Chile, and his grandparents and cousins currently live there. On his mission he learned spanish, and it was such a blessing for him to finally be able to communicate with his extended family! Those two years felt extremely long for me, because the only communication we had was through written letters, and we got to talk for about 15 minutes on Christmas and Mothers Day. However, over those two years that we were apart, we grew closer than I could have ever imagined. God became the center of our relationship.

The day had come for him to come home, and I could hardly breathe! I couldn't believe that it was finally here. I will never forget the overwhelming excitement, as I made eye contact with his handsome face coming down those escalators! The whole thing was so surreal.
