In a prime-time address Thursday, President Joe Biden warned Americans that “equality and democracy are under assault” by former president Donald Trump and his "MAGA Republican."
“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundation of our republic,” Biden said.
With Independence Hall in Philadelphia as his backdrop, Biden is aiming to refocus the November elections as a fight for the soul of America.
