On Sunday evening, hundreds of protesters stormed the main airport in Russia’s Dagestan region to protest the arrival of a flight from Israel.
The airport in Makhachkala was closed by authorities and police were deployed to the facility.
According to Russia’s interior ministry, 60 people involved in the incident were arrested.
