Tommy loved his old, wind-up robot. One day, as he twisted the key, the robot’s eyes began to glow.
“Destination set!” the robot beeped in a tiny voice.
“Destination? What do you mean?” Tommy asked.
Before he could finish, a swirl of lights surrounded them, and suddenly, Tommy was standing in a medieval castle! Knights in shining armor were practicing with swords, and a jester was juggling flaming torches.
“Whoa! Where are we?” Tommy whispered.
“The year 1450!” the robot replied. “Enjoy the tour, but don’t touch anything!”
Tommy couldn’t resist. He picked up a knight’s helmet, but it was so heavy he toppled over! A nearby knight laughed and helped him up.
Next, the robot beeped again. “Time’s up! Next stop: the future!”
In a flash, they were surrounded by flying cars and robots everywhere. “Cool!” Tommy exclaimed, watching kids play with holographic toys.
“Back home we go,” the robot finally said.
When they landed in Tommy’s room, he hugged the little robot. “Thanks for the best day ever!”
From that day on, Tommy couldn’t wait to see where his time-traveling toy would take him next. 🤖✨
