What to see in Waipio valley? Start with the lookout. Incredible views and worth the drive just to see. Decide if you're up for the hike down into the valley or take the shuttle tour in a 4x4 van. For us it was a great way to see the valley in a short amount of time. Amazing tour guides with local knowledge. If you have time and plan ahead and defiantly do the horseback ride tour.
