Did you know there is an international microscopy image competition that combines nanoscience and art? It’s called NanoArtography, and every year the competition has over 100 submissions from researchers in over 20 different countries. These images showcase the beauty of materials science and bring awareness to materials science research.
In today’s episode, we welcome Dr. Babak Anasori, the creator of NanoArtography, as well as the Editor in Chief for the new Graphene and 2D Materials journal at Springer Nature Group and an Assistant Professor at the Purdue University School of Engineering. With him we discuss:
🔹️ What exactly NanoArtography is and how it got started.
🔹 How this competition can lead to more advancements in science.
🔹Advice to young materials scientists and engineers on how to have a fulfilling career.
🔹And much more!
