Join Megan Murphey, PT, DPT, ATP, NCS, Assistive Technology Specialist at Sheltering Arms Institute, for a tour of the new MyLife Room. The MyLife Room at Sheltering Arms Institute features a variety of low-tech assistive devices such as a swivel tray table, weighted cell phone stand, and magnifiers as well as high-tech assistive devices such as voice control and doorbell cameras that can help make life easier. All items are provided by the Virginia Assistive Technology System and patients have the opportunity to schedule an appointment in the MyLife Room to learn how to use these devices.
